About the Role
We are currently looking for experienced Scraper Operators to join the WEM Civil team. We have a strong portfolio of works with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, and Illawarra regions.
This position requires a sound working knowledge of the operations of Scrapers. The duties of this role include:
- Operating Push â pull twin power Scrapers
- Boxing out roads
- Building stockpiles
- Experience using GPS (or willingness to learn)
- Daily servicing of the Scraper (checking oils, greasing)
- Taking pride in the work and maintaining machines to a high standard
The requirements of this position are:
- Demonstrated experience operating Scrapers within the civil construction industry
- A valid Construction White Card
- A valid Drivers' Licence, with the ability to travel across sites
- Ability to undertake daily required servicing of machinery
- Working safely and complying with all site safety standards
